Data On The Run -  Minor version upgrades (3.0 to 3.091, for example) are free.  You can just download the latest version 3 product and install over your existing version.  For major version upgrades you must purchase a new registration code.

For BioBody or Mobile Coach updates, just install the latest version over your existing version.  All BioBody and Mobile Coach updates have been free since the initial releases.  You can also switch from BioBody to Mobile Coach for free; see this page for more information.
