To move your phrases from an earlier version into version 1.2 or higher, you will need to copy the "ctpro.dat" file from the Windows folder to the My Documents folder on your Pocket PC after installing CopyText Pro. For CopyText Pro users wishing to use version 1.2 or higher, you can upgrade for free. Here is how to convert an old registration code to the new format: First, take your existing CopyText Pro code (see example below): UserName=(yourname)UserNumber=1234PIN=12345678 and find the "User Number" (in this example, it would be 1234). Add zero's to the front of that number to make it six digits, so now it would be 001234. Then, add the "PIN" numbers on the back of that. So, in our example, it would be 00123412345678. This is your new CopyText Pro registration code; use that number to register your software. |
